Job Summary

This position is responsible for the day-to-day administration of one fellowship training program and assisting the Residency Education Manager with the Residency Program. The Program Coordinator will assist the Program Directors in ensuring that the training programs are in full compliance with CUGME Office policies and procedures, ACGME program requirements and regulations, and assist the Program Directors in developing and maintaining the educational quality of the training programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supports compliance to ACGME program requirements, GME policies and procedures, and related departmental policies.
  • Coordinates accreditation activities, including ACGME Site Visits, Special Reviews, Annual Program Evaluations, and other related activities.
  • Assists with the preparation of the annual graduation event.
  • Manages annual Residency recruitment activities, including reviewing applications, scheduling and coordinating interviews, maintaining interview feedback data, preparing information for ranking meetings, and monitoring onboarding activities.
  • Supports compliance to ACGME program requirements, GME policies and procedures, and related departmental policies.
  • Provides guidance to fellows on program and GME policies, and non-clinical aspects of the program.
  • Coordinates educational activities, including didactic conference schedules, that support the programs' curriculum and adhere to ACGME requirements.
  • Manages annual fellowship recruitment activities, including reviewing applications, scheduling and coordinating interviews, maintaining interview feedback data, preparing information for ranking meetings, and monitoring onboarding activities.
  • Processes reimbursements for trainee travel, educational, and professional development expenditures as per University and Department policy.
  • Creates and maintains personnel files.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Work Location

This role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, education, social sciences, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, or a directly related field from an accredited institution. Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred qualifications include previous experience in a graduate medical education environment and previous experience concurrently coordinating multiple fellowship training programs.
