Job Summary: Ladgov Corporation is seeking a dedicated Medical Care Specialist to support the Department of Agriculture component at LBJ Job Corps Center. The successful candidate will provide high-quality medical care services to students, ensuring their health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promptly review applicant files and conduct initial medical examinations, developing individualized treatment plans.
  • Record all medical documentation, including diagnoses, treatment plans, and medication management.
  • Provide first aid, CPR, and other care within capabilities, as well as management and treatment of acute conditions and chronic care management plans.
  • Establish a specialty medical referral system for students requiring special or emergent medical care.

Requirements:

  • Active, unrestricted license to practice independently in the state where services will be provided.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
  • At least three years of work experience practicing medical services.

Note: Student populations range from 100 to over 300 enrollments, depending on the Center's On Board Strength (OBS). The ideal candidate will be able to adapt to changing circumstances and provide exceptional care in a dynamic environment.
