Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to serve as a Park Ranger. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, enforcing park rules and regulations, and participating in various park operations and maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service to park visitors, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Enforce park rules and regulations, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for visitors.
- Participate in park operations and maintenance activities, including cleaning, maintenance, and repairs.
- Assist with special events and programs, such as educational programs, festivals, and concerts.
- Collaborate with other park staff to achieve park goals and objectives.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in a variety of weather conditions.
- Experience working in a park or outdoor recreation setting.
- Knowledge of park rules and regulations.
- Ability to operate park equipment and vehicles.
The Park Ranger will work in a variety of settings, including park offices, visitor centers, and outdoor areas. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing situations, and perform manual labor in a variety of weather conditions.
