Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at BHMC-Arkadelphia. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care to women and their infants before, during, and after birth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients and develop individualized plans of care to meet their physical, psychological, educational, sociocultural, and spiritual needs.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery.
  • Provide expert nursing care to patients experiencing complications with their pregnancies or birth processes.
  • Assist with cesarean sections and other surgical procedures as needed.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients and their families to ensure a positive and supportive care experience.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Arkansas.
  • BSN degree preferred.
  • Basic knowledge and skills to meet the standard of care.
  • Ability to practice as a full partner of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Healthcare CPR certification required; ACLS, PALS, and/or NALS certification may be required in some areas.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position, working 72 hours bi-weekly.
