Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise day-to-day operations of multiple properties to ensure high-quality tenant experiences and efficient maintenance processes.
  • Communicate effectively with tenants to address concerns, resolve disputes, and build strong relationships.
  • Negotiate lease terms and rental contracts in compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Stay informed about California Tenant-Landlord laws, eviction procedures, and fair housing rules to manage lease agreements and contracts accordingly.
  • Coordinate with vendors, landscapers, and service providers to secure top-notch services at competitive rates.
  • Manage property budgets, oversee rent collection, and prepare regular financial statements, including income and expense reports.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks at properties while ensuring adequate insurance coverage.
  • Stay updated on local market trends in San Diego, including rental rates, vacancy rates, and zoning regulations.
Requirements
  • To be considered for this role, you must possess a valid California real estate license.
  • The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of experience in property management, real estate, or customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective tenant interactions.
  • Able to negotiate contracts and solve problems efficiently to manage property-related issues.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple properties and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in property management software, Microsoft Excel, Word, and online marketing tools for efficient operations.
  • Bonus points for candidates with knowledge of HOA management, familiarity with San Diego's real estate market, and experience in budgeting, reporting, and financial management.
