Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled CRNA to join our team at East Ohio LLC. As a key member of our anesthesia department, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering anesthesia and anesthesia-related care under the orders of a physician. This will involve monitoring and supporting vital life functions, acting as the patient's advocate while they are under anesthesia, and participating in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care: Demonstrate thorough knowledge of and support the hospital's mission, vision, and values. Develop, implement, and document an anesthetic plan of care prior to providing anesthesia.
  • Analyze patient data: Perform and document pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation of the patient, including all lab values, studies, consults, and pre-anesthesia clinical history.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams: Work closely with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records: Document evidence of patient being informed of all risks, potential complications, options, and alternatives to anesthesia.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments: Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities, and stay current with Federal, State, Local Laws, and CMS/JACH Accreditation standards.
Requirements:
  • Clinical expertise: Must have a current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the state of Ohio, and a current and valid APRN/CRNA license in the state of Ohio.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care hospital.
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS upon hire and maintain current.
