Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner II/Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. This role requires advanced clinical expertise in providing comprehensive care to complex patients, working autonomously, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced nursing care to patients and families, requiring in-depth analysis and clinical expertise for complex cases, with less supervision.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to manage ongoing patient care issues and assist in developing and implementing treatment plans.
  • Work closely with APNs, physicians, and other healthcare team members to enhance patient outcomes through organized and integrated intervention.
  • Support the management of ongoing patient care issues in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of treatment plans, coordinate patient care with ancillary clinical services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or higher in relevant field from an accredited program (Master's of Science in Nursing OR Doctorate of Nurse Practice required).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS), required. Advanced Certified Life Support (ACLS) preferred for Critical Care roles.
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Pediatrics preferred.
  • Clinical experience required.

Compensation:

In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $104,000 - $186,160 per year for the role of Nurse Practitioner II/Physician Assistant.
