We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Care Specialist to join our team in Quitman, Georgia.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday with a mix of 8-hour days and 7-hour evening shifts.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical office setting, preferably with patients who require specialized care.
  • This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services.
  • Assist healthcare providers with examinations, treatments, and procedures, maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Review patient charts, obtain and record vital signs, and document medical history, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assess patient needs, identify potential issues, and develop strategies to address them, collaborating with healthcare providers as needed.
  • Administer medications and apply sterile dressings, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies and equipment as necessary, and ensure compliance with infection control standards.
  • Educate patients on health-related topics, providing clear and concise information to promote understanding and empowerment.
  • Coordinate follow-up visits, laboratory results, and radiology tests, communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Document quality indicators in electronic medical records, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; LPN certification preferred.
  • CPR certification and a clean drug screen are mandatory.
  • Prior experience in a medical office setting, particularly with patients requiring specialized care, is highly desirable.
  • Ability to lift at least 25 pounds, walk, bend, stoop, and reach, with regular standing for extended periods.
