We are seeking a highly skilled Restoration Technician to join our team at Restoration 1 of Richmond North. As a key member of our crew, you will play a vital role in responding to customer needs for water and fire restoration jobs.
Key Responsibilities- Perform restoration activities, including drying, demolition, and other related tasks, in accordance with work orders and crew chief instructions.
- Inventory and load the work vehicle with necessary equipment, products, and supplies for each project.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, as well as clean equipment, to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Prepare rooms and areas for work activities, leaving the job site with a clean and orderly appearance.
- Communicate effectively with crew chiefs and other technicians to ensure seamless project execution.
- IICRC certification (WRT, ASD, etc.) is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in cleaning and restoration is essential.
- Experience serving residential and commercial properties is a must.
- A valid driver's license and high school diploma or GED are required.
- Able to pass a background check and drug test.
- Experience with software such as MICA, Encircle, or DocuSketch is a plus.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and navigate tight spaces.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods.
- Ability to repetitively push, pull, lift, and carry objects.
- Ability to work with and around cleaning products and chemicals.
- Ability to travel locally.
