We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist in Rehabilitation Services to join our team at Christus Health.

As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development and implementation of rehabilitation programs.

This per diem position offers a unique opportunity for flexible scheduling and autonomy in your practice.

Estimated Salary: $60-$80 per hour

The ideal candidate will have a Doctorate, Masters, Bachelors or Associates Degree in Physical Therapy and be licensed to practice in New Mexico. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is also required.

In addition to clinical skills, strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and organizational abilities are essential for success in this role.

You will work under the supervision of the Director/Manager of Rehabilitation Services and be responsible for providing rehabilitation services in a clean, well-lit, and ventilated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and evaluation of patients with physical disabilities
  • Development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
  • Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintenance of accurate records and documentation

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged standing and walking
  • Lifting and transferring patients and equipment up to 50 lbs
  • Working in a fast-paced environment with potential exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous chemicals
