Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Systems Specialist to join our Process Automation Energy Industries division in the United States.

About the Role

This is a full-remote position where you will contribute to improving energy, process, and production efficiency for our customers in various industrial sectors.

The Energy Industries Division at ABB serves a wide range of industries, including hydrocarbons, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, power generation, and water. With its integrated solutions that automate, digitalize, and electrify operations, the Division supports traditional industries in their efforts to decarbonize.

You will work closely with customers to identify opportunities to improve operations and eliminate pain points. Your key responsibilities will include performing field service tasks, analyzing technical issues, preparing material lists, and acting as a trainer for field service associates and customers.

Requirements
  • An associate degree or comparable military technical training, and minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft, networking, cyber security, and ABB 800xA Distributed Control System.
  • Able to maintain overnight travel of 80%.
  • Process automation work experience and understanding of systems maintenance, configuration, and process control ideal.
  • Fluency in English and a legal driver's license required.

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
