Job Summary

Halifax Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join their team in the Radiology - Diagnostic Department. As a key member of the healthcare team, this individual will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients while ensuring their safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality imaging modalities using various equipment and technology.
  • Administer contrast or radiopharmaceuticals as needed, while assessing and following up with patients.
  • Provide backup supervision and direction to radiology sections in the absence of a coordinator.
  • Maintain certification according to state, national, and medical center regulations.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a Joint Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or regionally accredited and approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Licensed by the State of Florida to operate ionizing and non-ionizing imaging equipment according to MQA, Joint Commission, and ALARA standards.
