Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our Office of Developmental Disabilities Services (ODDS), Business Supports Unit team. As a Business Analyst, you will work with and collaborate with ODDS program staff and agency information technology staff to perform testing all levels of IT system changes.

Your responsibilities will include participating in all phases of business and automated systems projects, performing user acceptance testing (UAT) during testing cycles, writing test plans and reporting testing progress, providing Tier 3 technical expertise, and researching and answering procedural and systems questions from various stakeholders.

You will also be responsible for collecting and analyzing data, identifying and resolving problems related to business needs and computer operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Five years of professional-level evaluative, analytical, and planning work experience.
  • Education in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science, or health, human, or social services, or similar degree will substitute for experience based on the following:
  1. An associate degree in any of the listed areas substitutes for 18 months of experience.
  2. A bachelor's degree in any of the listed areas substitutes for three (3) years of experience.
  3. A master's degree in any of the listed areas substitutes for four (4) years of experience.
  4. A doctorate degree in any of the listed areas substitutes for five (5) years of experience.

Working Conditions
  • This position requires occasional travel with overnight stays.

  • Addditional hours are required during peak periods.
