Resource Adequacy Planning Engineer

Job Summary

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting and conducting studies related to Resource Adequacy and Planning Resource Auctions. This includes performing Loss of Load Expectation (LOLE) studies, analyzing Seasonal Accredited Capacity (SAC), and conducting Seasonal Resource Assessments. Your role will involve communicating findings to internal teams and external stakeholders while ensuring compliance with resource adequacy processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform LOLE studies to ensure resource adequacy
  • Analyze SAC to identify trends and opportunities
  • Conduct Seasonal Resource Assessments to inform planning decisions
  • Communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field
  • Relevant experience in electric or power systems, gas, energy industry, ISO/RTOs, capacity markets, and energy markets
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
