We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team at Meadowland of Carmel. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on vehicles to ensure they are safe and reliable.



Responsibilities


  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations, to prevent mechanical failures and extend the life of vehicles.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, such as engine problems and transmission failures, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their vehicle needs and provide accurate estimates and repair information.
  • Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.


Requirements


  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in automotive repair or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or in a related field; training or certification in areas such as diesel engines, transmission repair, or electrical systems a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures, with a focus on continuous learning and professional development.
