Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a CNA, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and residents in different settings, including skilled nursing, post-acute, and rehabilitation facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the planning and coordination of total patient care in conjunction with the physician's plan of care.
  • Accurately report and record the patient's condition and care, including signs and symptoms which may be indicative of change.
  • Prepare clinical/progress notes and summaries.
  • Assist the physician in complex nursing situations.
  • Follow universal precautions whenever giving any aspect of patient care.
  • Follow emergency procedures in the event of any catastrophic event, incident, e.g., accident, injury, or significant change in the patient's condition.
  • Functions as a resource person and mentor to peers and subordinates to maintain professional nursing standards.
  • Acts on patients, resident's behalf to assure patient rights and wellness.
