Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Patient Access Representative III to create a positive first impression for our patients and families. This role is responsible for performing pre-arrival duties, collecting demographic and financial data, and verifying insurance eligibility. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and experience with Microsoft Office applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform pre-arrival duties for outpatient and inpatient services
• Collect and verify demographic and financial data
• Verify insurance eligibility and secure authorization
• Act as primary liaison for patients receiving professional and hospital services
Requirements:
• High School or Equivalent (GED) or higher
• 2-4 years of Registration, Scheduling, and Insurance Authorization experience
• Excellent communication and detail orientation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications:
• Associate or Bachelor's Degree
• Experience with EPIC and medical office workflows
• Insurance Verification Experience
