Key Responsibilities:

Oversee kitchen labor, budget, and costs to ensure optimal efficiency and profitability.

Collaborate with other Chefs to manage production, inventory, and food waste, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.

Ensure schedules are maintained and respected, promoting a positive and professional work environment.

Manage the P&L, food cost, and inventory, making data-driven decisions to drive business growth.

Foster strong relationships with management, colleagues, and vendors, demonstrating leadership and integrity while promoting team success.

Motivate, mentor, and train all BOH members, empowering them to perform at optimum standards.

Develop and maintain an empowering culture, promoting a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests.

Train and coach the staff to perform daily line checks and FOH service line-ups, ensuring seamless operations.

Maintain kitchen operations and upkeep, hood vents, grease traps, refrigeration, and other contracts, adhering to all sanitation and DOH standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

Culinary/Hospitality degree or certificate is preferred, with a strong foundation in kitchen management and leadership.

3+ years of culinary/kitchen management experience, with a proven track record of success in similar roles.

Previous experience as a CDC is preferred, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations and staff management.

Plating and presentation skills are highly preferred, with a focus on delivering exceptional quality and presentation.

Working knowledge of all aspects of the kitchen, including expediting, inventory management, and food safety.

Strong expediting skills and ability to work all stations, with a focus on delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent knowledge of all sanitation and DOH standards and regulations, with a focus on maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Experience in managing food and labor costs, with a focus on driving business growth and profitability.

Exceptional leadership skills, with a focus on motivating and empowering staff to perform at optimum standards.

Experience of working in a high-volume kitchen, with a focus on delivering exceptional quality and service in a fast-paced environment.

Fine dining experience is a preference, with a focus on delivering exceptional quality and presentation in a high-end environment.

Have experience with catering and events, with a focus on delivering exceptional quality and service in a variety of settings.

Fluent in English, with a working knowledge of Spanish required for effective communication with staff and guests.

Availability must include days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with a focus on delivering exceptional quality and service in a variety of settings.
