Job Summary

Clinical Therapists collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patients and families with complex psychosocial needs. Corewell Health's School-Based Health Clinics provide mental health services on school grounds, working closely with school administration to offer interventions during the school day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychosocial assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning with patients and families.
  • Provide short- and long-term psychotherapy using evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record, adhering to billing and ethical guidelines.
  • Refer patients to community resources and provide follow-up support.
  • Engage in clinical and professional consultation and supervision.
  • Support performance improvement initiatives based on patient satisfaction and quality outcomes.
  • Develop and implement mental health curriculum for students, tracking and reporting data for grant requirements.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Social Work or Clinical Counseling.
  • 2 years of relevant experience, with a focus on youth mental health and crisis intervention.
  • LIC-Professional Counselor (LPC) or LIC-Master Social Worker (MSW) licensure in the State of Michigan.
