Job Title: Warehouse Stocker - Receiving

At Restaurant Depot, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Stocker - Receiving to join our team. As a key member of our receiving team, you will be responsible for ensuring all products are delivered to their assigned department or area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Remove pallets from delivery trucks using a scooter or pallet/pump jack
  • Stage pallets and merchandise for supervisor inspection to meet HACCP regulations
  • Break down vendor pallets and separate products for different departments
  • Secure product on pallets by properly stocking merchandise and securing them with wrap
  • Complete block tags with item number and date of delivery and attach to pallets for proper identification and rotation
  • Move pallets to designated departments
  • Keep work area safe by promptly handling spills and removing and disposing of trash
  • Perform required safety checks of equipment before use
  • Inform supervisor of any safety concerns
  • Provide basic maintenance to equipment such as charging electric equipment
  • Provide prompt, courteous, and friendly customer service
  • Assist customers with loading and off-loading of product as needed
  • Assist customers with product location and detailed information when needed

Physical Demands:

  • Walking/standing on concrete up to 10 hours/day
  • Frequently turning, standing, reaching, stooping, and/or bending
  • Frequently pushing/pulling objects 500 to 1,500 lbs.
  • Frequently lifting/carrying objects more than 60 lbs.

Work Environment:

  • Requires frequent exposure to cold/freezing temperatures
  • Equipment in motion (forklifts, electric pallet jacks, scooters)
  • Performs other work-related duties as required and assigned
  • May be required to work in other departments as needed
