Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Linen Delivery and Supply Chain Associate to join our team at Johns Hopkins HealthCare. Key Responsibilities:
- Transport clean and soiled linen using motorized pallet jacks and tow motors
- Comprehend and demonstrate the delivery process as it relates to the Towline Operations for the Supply Chain Shared Service Center
- Count and accurately complete inventory sheets
- Operate electrical tow motors and push/pull linen trucks weighing up to 1200 pounds
- Develop effective interpersonal communication skills to interact with medical staff, patients, visitors, and other hospital employees
Requirements:
- Active certification for motorized pallet jacks and tow motor through Hospital Safety and Environment within 6 months of hire
- Evidence of Hospital towline operations competency within 6 months of hire
- Ability to operate electrical tow motor
- Physical strength to move linen trucks, by hand, throughout the department and hospital
- Physical dexterity to move in and out of linen trucks when emptying chutes
