About the Role:
Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking an experienced Electronics Systems Integration Specialist to join our team in Palmdale, CA. This position will be part of our Avionics Integration Organization.

The selected candidate will work full-time on-site at our facility and collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other personnel to integrate and test complex IT systems. The role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform hardware and software installation, configuration, and testing for new systems and upgrades to existing IT systems
• Physically construct rack-based datacenter systems with a focus on safety, quality, and ease of repair
• Install system interconnect cabling for communications, audio, networking, and serial interfaces
• Interpret, markup/redline, and audit released engineering drawings
• Integrate and troubleshoot software components across multiple networks interfacing with customer Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
• Maintain system hardware/software configuration and ensure that documentation is created and maintained to allow others to integrate & troubleshoot in the future
• Execute temporary and permanent changes to the system via established processes
• Provide expert software, hardware, and system support to on-site end-users
• Support the engineering team(s) with software defect resolution and enhancement efforts
• Perform integrated logistics support (ILS) and inventory tracking for inbound and outbound hardware

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline and 3 years of related engineering experience.
Demonstrated experience with Windows and Unix operating systems, VmWare, Security+ Certificate for administrators, Top Secret clearance, and Special Program Access.

Estimated Salary:$153,000 - $205,600 per year. The salary range may vary based on individual qualifications and company needs.
