About the Role

As a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse, you will provide specialized care in fast-paced emergency settings. Your responsibilities will include assessing and treating patients, collaborating with the ER team, and ensuring efficient delivery of emergency care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide rapid assessment and treatment to patients with emergent medical conditions.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to stabilize patients and ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, response to treatment, and changes in condition, adjusting care plans as necessary.
  • Advocate for patients' needs and coordinate care transitions, including admissions to inpatient units or referrals to specialty services.
  • Educate patients and their families on post-emergency care instructions, follow-up appointments, and community resources for ongoing support.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A current RN license.
  • BLS certification (additional certifications may be required by the facility).
  • At least two years of recent experience as an ER Registered Nurse.
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills.
