About the Position

Lund is a leading non-profit organization in Vermont, dedicated to strengthening families and providing a safe environment for all children. As a Family Engagement Specialist, you will play a vital role in our mission by providing case management services to families connected to our Residential Program.

Job Description
  • Case Management: Work closely with parents in our residential program to identify healthy support systems and develop strategies for strengthening relationships.
  • Community Collaboration: Serve as a liaison with other agencies serving vulnerable populations, ensuring seamless coordination of services.
  • Aftercare Support: Provide ongoing support to families following discharge from our program, connecting them with community resources and helping them navigate complex systems.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement individualized case plans for families in our Residential Program.
  2. Foster strong relationships with community partners, identifying opportunities for collaboration and resource sharing.
  3. Provide training and education to families on topics such as parenting, budgeting, and stress management.
  4. Collaborate with treatment teams to ensure comprehensive support for families.
  5. Maintain accurate records and reports, tracking progress and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Education, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with families, preferably in a residential or outpatient setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build trust with diverse populations.
  • Familiarity with local resources and community organizations serving vulnerable populations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
