Christus Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a new MedSurg overflow unit on the 5th floor. As a Medical Care Specialist, you will provide direct and indirect care to patients in this low-traffic area with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1.

Job Summary:

A Registered Professional Nurse at Christus Health is responsible for delivering patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care through effective assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a State Board accredited School of Nursing or equivalent
  • Current RN license or permit to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
  • 1 year of RN Acute Hospital experience preferred

Compensation and Benefits:
