Gallery Host

The Gallery Host is responsible for creating a unique and memorable experience for our guests by providing exceptional service and maintaining a clean and inviting environment.

• Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes, verifying registration information and balancing bank postings.
• Provide information to guests and visitors, coordinating special requests and informing them of hotel services and amenities.
• Answer hotel telephones in a courteous and efficient manner, following brand-specific standards.
• Prepare, set up, stock, take down, and clean food and beverage products, adhering to recipe and presentation standards.
• Assist guests with food orders and serve food and beverage items in a friendly and professional manner.
• Use suggestive selling techniques and maintain a clean and organized environment for guests.
• Follow brand-specific operational policies and procedures, including those for cash and credit card handling, safety, and security.

• A minimum of one month of related experience or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Previous customer service experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Strong ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment with constant guest interaction.
• Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, develop alternative solutions, and use reason when dealing with emotional topics.
• Ability to multi-task and manage difficult or emotional customer situations.
• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and treat others with respect and consideration.
• Knowledge of and ability to interpret and follow policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety and security procedures.
