Christian Athletic Director

The Heritage Christian Academy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Christian Athletic Director to lead our athletic department. As a pivotal member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing policies and procedures, overseeing day-to-day operations, and ensuring the success of our Christ-centered mission.

• Recruit, interview, and evaluate coaches to ensure they meet HCA and KSHSAA standards.
  
• Coordinate athletic events, practices, and scrimmages, secure facilities, and ensure transportation and officiating needs are met.
  
• Manage the athletic department budget, ensuring all expenditures are within approved guidelines.
  
• Maintain accurate records of athletic participation, team achievements, student awards, and other relevant statistics.
  
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the athletic department operates in accordance with HCA's mission and values.

• Bachelor's Degree in Education (Master's preferred).
  
• Experience coaching or teaching, preferably at a Christian school.
  
• Possess or be eligible for Kansas certification, preferably in physical education for grades 7-12.
  
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certification within six months of employment.
  

The ideal candidate will be a mature Christian leader with a deep understanding of HCA's mission and values. They will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to interact effectively with peers, supervisors, and the school community.
