About the Job

This position is a unique opportunity to join the VETERANS HEALTH ADMINISTRATION team as an OPMH Therapist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnoses for patients with complex mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure to practice psychology in the state of Georgia.
  • Experience working with patients with mental health conditions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
