Hire Resolve is working with a reputable MEP company that is seeking a skilled Mechanical Systems Designer to join their team.

As a Mechanical Systems Designer in the MEP industry, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing mechanical systems for various building projects.


Responsibilities:


Designing and developing mechanical systems for building projects, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, and fire protection systems.

Conducting calculations, simulations, and analysis to ensure the efficiency, safety, and functionality of mechanical systems.
Preparing and reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and other engineering documentation.
Working closely with other engineers, architects, and construction teams to coordinate the design and implementation of mechanical systems.
Performing site visits and inspections to verify the installation and functionality of mechanical systems.
Providing guidance and support during the construction, commissioning, and handover phases of projects.
Keeping abreast of industry advancements, codes, and regulations related to mechanical engineering and the MEP industry.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of design processes and practices within the company.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Previous experience working as a Mechanical Engineer in the MEP industry.
Strong knowledge and understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant engineering tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and clients.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design documentation.
Knowledge of relevant codes and standards, such as ASHRAE, NFPA, and local building regulations.
Professional engineering license or working towards obtaining licensure is a plus.
