Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Services Specialist to join our team at our OrthoCarolina Ballantyne office location. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing patient forms, collecting and verifying patient information, and entering data into our electronic health record system.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and prepare them for their appointments.
  • Collect and verify patient information, including demographic and insurance details.
  • Enter patient information into our electronic health record system.
  • Prepare paperwork necessary for patient visits, including medical records and billing documents.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of one year experience in a medical clinic setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures.
