Music Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified Music Instructor to join our team at Texas Tech University. As a member of our faculty, you will contribute to the university's mission through teaching, research, and service.

• Teach music courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including applied instrument, vocal, or conducting studies.
• Develop and update course content to meet curricula and student needs.
• Utilize and adapt to diverse teaching modalities, including face-to-face, hybrid, and online instruction.

The qualified candidate must have a Master of Music, Doctor of Music, or Ph.D. degree and a minimum of one year of experience as an instructor at the university level.

• MM, DMA, or Ph.D., and/or industry experience.
• Academic degree as appropriate for the position held.
• Effective teaching ability evidenced by a minimum of one year of experience as an instructor at the university level.

The School of Music at Texas Tech University is NASM accredited and offers a range of undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Our faculty of 61 full-time professors serves approximately 383 undergraduate students and 225 students involved in graduate study.
