Reconditioning Specialist

Horton, Inc. is a leading provider of engine cooling solutions worldwide. As a Remanufacturer, you will play a crucial role in the production process, working onsite at our Britton, SD location.

We are seeking an experienced Remanufacturer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous work experience in a manufacturing environment and be able to use various quality gages. This is a regular full-time position with standard hours from Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with overtime as needed.

• Assemble units using new or salvaged parts, following standard assembly procedures and checking for quality continuously.
• Subassemble clutch packs using new or salvaged parts, collecting parts and preparing for assembly a sufficient quantity to complete the number of units specified by the production schedule.
• Perform basic personal computer functions in various software systems, including entering accurate productivity/efficiency data and checking work queues, inventory levels, and other production-related tasks.

• High school diploma or equivalent is desired, but not required.
• Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Must be able to use various quality gages.
• Must be able to use a computer.
