Speech Therapist Job Description

VNA Health Group is seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to patients in their homes or community settings.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and evaluate clients for speech and language therapy needs and develop individualized plans of action in collaboration with physicians.
  • Provide speech and language therapy services to clients, including evaluation, treatment, and documentation of progress.
  • Identify counseling needs and plan appropriate teaching strategies to support clients' communication goals.
  • Monitor quality and appropriateness of services provided and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Adhere to agency infection control and safety policies, as well as organization policies regarding absenteeism and appearance.
Qualifications:
  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP certification and Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • 2-3 years of prior clinical experience and community-based experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid NJ driver's license.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

Working indoors and outdoors, driving, lifting, sitting, standing, walking, fine motor hand movement, use of phone and tablet for documentation.
