Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Patient Service Representative to join our team at MaineGeneral Health. As a key member of our clinical support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
  • Verify insurance benefits and obtain precertification/authorization as needed
  • Determine and accept required payments, including co-pays and deductibles
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of demographic, billing, and clinical information

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication, and support skills
  • Ability to be flexible and shift priorities quickly
