The Division of Neonatology, Department of Pediatrics at the University of Washington/Seattle Children's Hospital is a renowned academic center dedicated to advancing neonatal scholarship and providing exceptional clinical care.

Our Mission

We strive to improve the outcome of pregnancy by educating the next generation of neonatal caregivers, conducting cutting-edge research, and delivering evidence-based clinical care. Our three primary areas of research focus are bench-to-bedside neonatal neuroprotection/neuroscience, simulation as an educational and clinical competency tool, and global neonatal-perinatal health.

Join Our Team

We are seeking a talented neonatologist to join our faculty on the Clinician-Scholar track. This position offers a unique opportunity for growth and development in a dynamic and supportive environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be a full-time faculty member at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level without tenure by reason of funding (WOT), commensurate with experience and qualifications. The base salary range for this position is $207,732 - $311,592 annually ($17,311 - $25,966 per month) for Assistant Professors, $241,800 - $362,700 annually ($20,150 - $30,225 per month) for Associate Professors, and $275,580 - $413,376 annually ($22,965 - $34,448 per month) for Professors. Compensation includes base salary provided through the Children's University Medical Group (CUMG) practice plan and additional administrative responsibilities may be offered to a specific candidate with appropriate experience and qualifications which may result in an administrative supplement (ADS).

Requirements

  • An MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent).
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Neonatology (or foreign equivalent).
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Washington.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex ideas clearly.
