Job Overview

At Los Angeles Skills Academy, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Training Program Director to join our team. This is a part-time position with the potential for growth to full-time as soon as possible.


About the Role

The RN Program Director will be responsible for managing the Nurse Assistant Training (NAT) program at LASA. This involves recruiting, training, and managing instructors, ensuring program compliance with state and federal regulations, and maintaining quality standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, retain, and manage NAT instructors to deliver high-quality training to students.
  • Ensure program compliance with federal, state, and LASA policies to maintain accreditation and quality standards.
  • Conduct onboarding, training, and performance evaluations for instructors to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clinical sites to provide students with valuable hands-on experience.
  • Oversee the maintenance of program files and ensure accurate student records to facilitate smooth program delivery.
  • Teach NAT courses in emergency situations to support the program's continuity.

Qualifications
  • An active, unrestricted RN license in California or multistate, where applicable.
  • A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, including 1 year in long-term care.
  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience to lead a team effectively.
  • Familiarity with federal and state training regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Ability to travel 30-40% of the time to attend meetings and visits.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including:

Schedule

This is a part-time position, up to 20 hours per week, with flexibility for evening and weekend work as needed. We encourage applicants who are available to work a variable schedule.
