LPN/LVN - Family Health Clinic

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our team at Ascension Providence in Waco, Texas. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care under the direction of a registered nurse or physician, functioning within the scope of your license.
Responsibilities- Provide care to patients, contributing to the assessment of patients and ensuring their well-being.
- Administer medications and observe patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
- Perform laboratory tests and therapeutic services.
- Educate patients and families about disease treatment plans, including self-care post-discharge, holistic health needs, available resources, and follow-up care.
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date.
- Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program or current Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license to practice in the state of Texas.
- High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
