We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina.

About the Job

This 13-week contract offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality pediatric care in a dynamic environment. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care services to patients of all ages, with a focus on pediatrics and neonates.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, perform diagnostic testing, and interpret results to inform treatment decisions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and interventions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence within the department.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in a pediatric or neonatal setting.
  • Current certifications in BLS, PALS, and NRP.
  • A strong understanding of pediatric and neonatal respiratory care, including ventilation management and oxygen therapy.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications

We welcome applications from candidates with experience working with Servo I ventilators and EKG machines. Certification in NPS is also highly valued.
