Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist Specialist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' needs and develop comprehensive treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Provide advanced physical therapy treatments, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education on proper body mechanics and injury prevention.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and coordinate services as needed.
  • Conduct regular assessments to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care, including progress notes and treatment plans.
  • Serve as a resource and mentor for staff members, students, and volunteers, promoting professional growth and development.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university-based program.
  • A current license to practice Physical Therapy by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners or the Physical Therapy Compact Commission.
  • Current Certification in Basic Life Support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $$84,111 - $124,342 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
