Cybersecurity Specialist

At DirectedLINK, we are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our company's assets and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information systems and data.

The Information Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining multiple security solutions to protect our company's assets. This includes assessing application and infrastructure architectures for security threats and vulnerabilities, as well as implementing security infrastructures such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, and secure email gateways.

• Develop and maintain security policies and procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of our business

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in a related field
• 3+ years' experience in an Information Security role with responsibilities in assessing application and infrastructure architectures for security threats and vulnerabilities
• Hands-on experience with security infrastructures such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, and secure email gateways
• Solid foundational understanding of networking concepts
• Professional security management certification, such as CISSP or GISP, highly desirable

• 5+ years' experience in a Senior level network/systems role with a strong focus on Security
• Knowledge and experience with common information security management frameworks and best practices, specifically NIST frameworks and CIS Critical Security Controls
• Understanding of cloud security concepts, mobile architecture, network and application security, and/or data protection
