We are seeking an Advanced Injection Molding Engineer to join our growing team at Nanobiosym. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in developing and improving injection molded products and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements and optimize manufacturing operations.
  • Develop and implement validation protocols to ensure compliance with FDA regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members on troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Utilize Lean principles to develop creative solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Responsible for debugging, packaging, and sterilization of medical devices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Plastics or Mechanical preferred).
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification is highly desirable.
  • 7+ years of experience in injection molding, mold flow, mold-making, and tooling in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong background in design improvements, solid works/CAD, and statistical analysis.
  • Experience in medical device development, FDA regulated environments (21 CFR 820), and ISO 13485.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, documentation, and organizational skills.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is between $90,000 and $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure is based on industry standards for similar positions in the Boston area.
