Hilton Garden Inn at OSU is a leading hotel brand, offering exceptional guest experiences. We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our front office team.
">Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring high-quality guest relations, and supporting the Front Office Supervisor in controlling and managing all front office operations.
">Duties and Responsibilities:
- ">
- Assist in maximizing revenue goals through up-selling and down-selling according to occupancy, rates, and competitors;">
- Efficiently coordinate daily arrivals and departures, including special requests;">
- Follow hotel cash handling procedures;">
- Keep the front office neat and organized and communicate daily activities to relevant departments;">
- Seek feedback from guests to ensure the highest level of satisfaction and resolve problem situations with management assistance;">
- Respond to and direct emergency situations and security issues to management immediately;">
- Report any health, safety, or hazard issues to the supervisor;">
- Maintain health and safety standards in the front desk area, considering both employee and guest perspectives;">
- Ensure the safety and well-being of guests and coworkers by being knowledgeable about crisis and emergency procedures;">
- Be responsible for all front desk operations, including shift reports, cash drops, call-around, and other functions to better serve guests and improve front desk efficiency;">
- Attend meetings and training sessions as requested;">
- Responsible for proper key control;">
- Wear a uniform and nametag at all times;">
- Comply with hotel and brand standards;">
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures;">
- Work closely with the sales team to capitalize on revenue opportunities;">
- Have a good understanding of the Property Management System (PMS);">
- Be willing to work any shift and fill in when other associates are unable to work;">
- Continue working until the next shift arrives;">
- Send a daily end-of-shift activity report to the supervisor and copy it to the General Manager;">
- Maintain personal cleanliness;">
- Preferred qualifications: customer service experience/hotel front desk experience;">
- Language Skills: Excellent interpersonal/communication and customer service skills; Proficiency in the English language for understanding business letters, memos, customer interaction, presentations, demonstrations, employee direction, audits, etc.">

Compensation:
">We offer an estimated hourly wage of $15.00 per hour, commensurate with industry standards for a similar role. The compensation package may vary based on performance and location.
