Regulatory Affairs Specialist

This position plays a critical role in ensuring Colonial Chemical's products comply with regulatory requirements.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a thorough knowledge of products, chemistries, and processes to ensure compliance with international regulatory rules and guidance.
Main Responsibilities:- Liaise with R&D Chemists to define post-reaction chemistries according to international regulatory rules and guidance.
- Identify chemicals of concern in product formulations by leveraging company resources and communicating established thresholds to stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough reviews of new raw materials to ensure compliance with TSCA, OSHA, and import regulations.
- Prepare necessary import documentation and offer expert technical solutions for regional chemical inventory compliance.
- Provide timely and appropriate responses to product chemical inventory compliance inquiries from customers, agencies, and others.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
