Overview
FreshPoint Atlanta, Inc. is a leading foodservice distribution company seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Team Member to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and increasing market share by satisfying existing and new customer needs and meeting management/department objectives.

Job Description
This position involves coordinating customer service with all departments within the organization. You will develop a close working relationship with customers, as well as all coordinating departments, to identify customer and department needs and satisfy them effectively. This includes maintaining and developing assigned customer base, working knowledge of all products and categories to drive penetration of existing accounts, cross-training and fostering solid working relationships within department and with other departments, inputting orders into computer system, selling all major product categories through presentation of new products, services, ideas, uses, and applications to meet all established sales and profit objectives, creating and maintaining necessary company and customer files, managing daily tasks and reports related to order processing, shipments, deliveries, customer needs, and others as assigned, supporting company sales and gross profit projections and goals as needed, adhering to operational procedures, attending meetings as scheduled, working with sales team, advancing education and knowledge of products, company, and industry through assigned and self-directed internal courses, meetings, and other resources, and performing other duties as required. The estimated annual salary for this position is $42,000 - $62,000 based on location in 30213.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one (1) year minimum experience in sales and/or customer service position preferred. Specialty food, specialty business, and/or culinary experience is also preferred. Additionally, you should have a working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), strong numeric and alpha-numeric data entry skills, proven ability to communicate effectively in a positive manner both verbally and in writing, attention to detail, accuracy, effectiveness, and efficiency, pursue knowledge, education, training, and development opportunities, share expertise with others, provide customer service to internal and external customers, solicit internal and external customer feedback to improve service and processes, respond to requests for service and assistance, maintain confidentiality, participate in meetings, presentations, and demonstrations, read, comprehend, and analyze written information including but not limited to general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations, communicate clearly and effectively through written, spoken, and other media, demonstrate attention to detail, accuracy, effectiveness, and efficiency in all activities and actions, contribute to building a positive team spirit, follow policies and procedures, support the organization's goals and values, use time efficiently, prioritize and plan work activities, treat others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position, adhere to safety and security procedures, and reliably attend meetings and work sessions.
