Land Surveyor Expertise Leader

Loureiro Engineering Associates, Inc. is currently seeking a skilled Land Surveyor Expertise Leader in our Land Survey Division.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in all areas of land surveying and be capable of providing technical oversight for various projects. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
About the Role
- Provide expert guidance on land surveying services including boundary surveys, utility surveys, construction layout, topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, and subdivisions.
- Conduct thorough research of public and private land records to ensure accuracy and precision.
- Prepare detailed sketches, maps, and reports of legal descriptions of surveys.
- Verify data, calculations, and CAD drafting to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Develop property boundary descriptions that meet client expectations.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in construction surveying.
- Professional Land Surveying license (Connecticut) with the ability to obtain licensure in other states.
- Expertise in all aspects of land survey standards and boundary law.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in surveying software, including AutoCAD Civil 3D and Carlson Survey.
Benefits and Compensation
We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package. Our employee-owned company culture values innovation, teamwork, and professional growth.
