Job Title: Medical Coding Analyst Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Coding Analyst Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for reviewing and researching new code changes released by coding authorities, ensuring seamless system implementation for our PPO and HMO Commercial Business.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and investigate new code changes to ensure accurate mapping and implementation
  • Develop solutions to optimize coding activities and other applicable areas
  • Collaborate with physicians and other team members to ensure effective communication and workflow
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in medical coding
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Proficiency in current industry standard PC applications and systems (e.g., Word, Excel, and Microsoft Office)
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • RHIT or RHIA certification with specialty certification of CCS, CCS-P preferred
