We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapy Specialist to join our team at MedAdventures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various therapeutic practices and a passion for helping patients regain their mobility and improve their quality of life.

About the Role

This is a full-time position offering an estimated salary range of $48-$50 per hour, with 40 hours of work per week. As a Physiotherapy Specialist, you will be responsible for working with diverse populations, including geriatrics and pediatrics, in both clinic settings and home health environments.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs and goals.
  • Implement therapeutic exercises and techniques to improve strength, flexibility, and mobility.
  • Utilize various modalities such as trigger point therapy to alleviate pain and promote healing.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and preventive care strategies.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients in outpatient clinics or home community care settings.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to physical therapy practices.
  • Experience or knowledge in geriatrics, pediatrics, outpatient care, home health, or clinic settings is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in various therapeutic techniques including trigger point therapy.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
  • Ability to assess patient needs quickly and adapt treatment plans accordingly.
