Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Underground Utility Worker to join our team at TD&I Cable Maintenance, Inc.

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work well in a team environment, enjoy working outdoors, and perform strenuous physical tasks lifting up to 50 pounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare construction sites, materials, and tools for various projects
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from vehicles
  • Remove debris and conduct restoration at work sites
  • Assemble and break down barricades and temporary structures
  • Operate commercial vehicles and trailers over 10,000 pounds, with a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required for vehicles over 26,000 pounds
  • Regulate traffic and erect traffic signs according to MUTCD guidelines
  • Follow health and OSHA 1926 Construction Safety standards and regulations
  • Dig potholes, trenches, and other underground excavation work
Requirements
  • No formal qualification is required, although a High School diploma may be preferred
  • Driver's license required
  • Similar work experience may be beneficial
  • Willingness to undertake training when necessary
  • Ability to work in a team setting and outdoors
  • Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20 - $28.00 per hour depending on experience

Expected hours: 40 – 70 per week
