Career Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Pilot in Command for our Gulfstream 450 (G450) aircraft based in Houston, TX. This is a two-pilot account supported by a Maintenance Technician flying Part 91 and 135. The Pilot in Command holds final responsibility to ensure aircraft safety, compliance, and efficiency.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will possess at least 4-6 years of experience in corporate/business aviation, with a preference for GV/450/550 type-rated individuals. They must have completed the following milestones:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role include ensuring safe operations, delivering an exceptional service experience, and maintaining proficiency and compliance. Key tasks include:
- Evaluating crewing and trip assignments for compliance with company and regulatory requirements
- Completing flight planning, performance, and weight and balance tasks as required
- Utilizing Threats, Plans, and Considerations briefing methodology to mitigate operational risks
- Ensuring all aircraft pre-flight tasks are completed, including maintenance status checks
- Delivering quality service to owners and passengers while identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience
Compensation
We offer a competitive salary, estimated to be around $160,000-$180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with 61% matching, health savings account, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, loss of license coverage, and 14 days of paid time off upon hire.
