Ski Technician Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Ski Technician to join our team at Ski Butlers.

Job Summary
The Ski Technician will be the face of Ski Butlers, interacting with customers daily by delivering equipment rentals to their accommodations, completing on-mountain support services, and picking up gear at the end of the rental period. The successful candidate will have the ability to ski every day and will work closely with the team to set each other up for success.

Responsibilities:
  • Delivering equipment rentals to customer accommodations and on-mountain support services.
  • Picking up gear at the end of the rental period.
  • Completing scheduled and reactive ski/snowboard rental fittings while focusing on Key Customer Requirements: choosing the right equipment for each guest given their skills and current conditions, providing equipment support within 45 minutes, packing orders for future delivery, setting up the next shift and future team members for success, basic ski/snowboard tuning, waxing, and general equipment maintenance, making/answering customer phone calls with a positive tone of voice, and restocking delivery vehicles with extra equipment.

Requirements:
No previous experience is required. Ability to ski every day is preferred. Basic knowledge of ski/snowboard tuning, waxing, and general equipment maintenance is an asset. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

  • A competitive salary of approximately $35,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
